The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was officially announced this morning, confirming the suspicions of fans of the series. The announcement came with some tidbits of info about the game:
- The world is 20% bigger than Skyrim, taking 30-40 minutes to cross on horseback and it will be open, streaming as you go instead of stopping to load as you cross it, courtesy of RED Engine 3.
- Geralt's memory has been restored.
- The game won't be broken into chapters or acts.
- Geralt will be his own man/witcher again. No more getting caught up in everyone else's fights.
- You'll be doing everything from solving mysteries to slaying monsters (in other words, being a witcher).
- It will be released on "all top of the line" consoles. Pretty vague, but it suggests a release on next-gen hardware.
Enjoy the news and bask in the glory of this teaser!
Sounds awesome!I'm glad they are only playing through one person, it gets so annoying playing different people all the time.
